Dear Bridge Program Participant,

Please note that the Eversense Bridge Program will be coming to a close, and will no longer be available after December 31, 2020. The Bridge Program was always intended as a temporary program for patient assistance and access to the Eversense product, and has actually continued longer than planned. In addition, we have in recent months seen an expansion in commercial insurance and Medicare coverage for Eversense.

What does this mean for you?

Until December 31, 2020, you will still be able to obtain the Eversense CGM sensor for $99, upon eligibility confirmation. As has always been the case, the sensor placement procedure by your doctor is separate and not included in the Bridge Program. After December 31, 2020, if you wish to continue to use the Eversense CGM system, you will need to contact your Eversense supplier or distributor and request a benefits verification from your current insurance plan. They will inform you of your coverage and applicable out-of-pocket costs to continue using Eversense.

We realize this decision to close the Bridge Program may impact how you manage your diabetes. We nevertheless hope you will choose, if possible, to stay with Eversense CGM. We recommend you also discuss this with your doctor or health care team and encourage you to pursue coverage with your insurance carrier. Prior authorizations and appeals have been successful for many patients.

All of us at Senseonics thank you for your interest in Eversense and hope that we can continue to be of service to you. Please see below for more information and FAQs.
